Before 2021 comes to a close, fans are expecting some long-overdue albums from their favorite superstars, including Rihanna and Adele.
Rumor has it that Adele’s fourth studio album could be coming out as soon as this week, after radio host Mauler posted the news in a since-deleted tweet. RiRi opened up about her highly anticipated follow-up project to 2016’s ANTI, telling reporters at the red-carpet premiere of her Savage x Fenty Show Vol. 3, “You’re not going to expect what you hear. Just put that in your mind.”
Between the August 2019 release of her debut solo single “Motivation” and the July 2021 release of her Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs No. 5 hit “Wild Side,” featuring Cardi B, Normani has been hard at work on her debut studio album. The former Fifth Harmony member revealed in an interview on The Zach Sang Show that she’s looking for one more song to complete the 14-track project before she puts it out into the world.
The Weeknd has hinted at his upcoming album in various tweets, interviews and his 2021 Billboard Music Awards acceptance speech, which he tweeted that he was “really proud” of. The superstar has said that if his last record represents the After Hours, then that means “the dawn is coming” with this next one — though it remains unclear if “the dawn” or “the dawn is coming” might also serve as the title of his fifth studio LP.
