Atlanta-based 1720 Entertainment has opened shop in Nashville.
The company’s country staff includes VP of national promotion Bill Macky, manager of West Coast promotion Jim Malito, manager of mid-America promotion Rosey Fitchpatrick and manager of East Coast promotion Stacy Blythe.
Industry veterans Neal Spielberg and Derek Simon have been retained as senior consultants to the label, overseeing sales and marketing respectively.
The company’s flagship country artist, singer/songwriter Rissi Palmer, will release her debut single, “Country Girl,” to country radio June 4 and her self-titled debut album will follow in the fall.
1720 is home to artists Elvis White, Rod Michael, Alison Hinds and C-Side.
