English singer Waite’s “Missing You,” which reached No. 1 on Sept. 22, 1984, has the distinction of replacing Tina Turner‘s huge hit, “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” in the top slot. “Missing You” helped propel Waite’s 1984 album, “No Brakes,” into the top 10 of the Billboard 200.
