Lil Nas X is blazing a trail through the music industry with his viral hit “Old Town Road.” The 20-year-old rapper, singer and songwriter from Atlanta now sits atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart with his genre-bending smash.
He is the first male artist (in a lead role) to lead the Hot 100 in his first visit since Desiigner took “Panda” to the top in May 2016.
