Bebe Rexha released her single “I’m a Mess” from her debut album Expectations back in June, telling Billboard that the inspiration behind the song came from a story about a guy who she really liked but suddenly stopped hearing from. By stalking him on Instagram, she soon realized he was dating someone else. It tore her apart, but helped her create the biggest hit off of her album.
Rexha recently collaborated with Florida Georgia Line on “Meant to Be,” which broke the record for most weeks at No.1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.
