Tidal’s first-ever live stream from Puerto Rico Saturday night featured reggaeton star Yandel, intent on showing the world how ‘caliente’ Puerto Ricans are. The private event for nearly 3,000 guests at Puerto’s Convention Center featured a very colorful stage, big screens and a cadre of dancers who accompanied Yandel as he went through his hits, beginning with party track “Calentura.”

“I want you to know, that the whole world is watching us tonight. Let’s show the world how Puerto Rico does it,” said Yandel after the second song.
The 50-minute show, produced by Miguel Cotto Productions, featured guest artists Tego Calderon, Farruko, Zion and Lennox and Shaggy. The show can still be seen on the Tidal app or on Tidal.com.

Tidal’s launch in Puerto Rico follows live streams in Mexico from urban act C-Can and regional Mexican star Julion Alvarez.
