Wisin & Yandel are making history again. The legendary duo will perform a seventh consecutive show at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico as part of their Como Antes Tour, becoming the only artists to achieve the milestone, Billboard can exclusively announce.
The new date is set for Dec. 6, with the other dates in the concert series taking place on Nov. 30, Dec. 1, 2, 7, 8, and 9. The tickets for the first show (Nov. 30) went on pre-sale on Thursday (June 14) and sold out in record time before the general sale could be held. This prompted the announcement of a second date (Saturday, Dec. 1), which went on sale Friday morning (June 15), but by that afternoon, that sold out, too. Third, fourth, fifth and sixth dates were added, with ticket sales following the same pattern.
Wisin & Yandel have now set a new record of having the most consecutive shows in the venue. The previous record was held by Aventura, with five consecutive sold-out dates in 2008.
After being apart for five years, the duo confirmed their expected return at the top of 2018. Their concert tour began in March at the Altos de Chavón amphitheater in the Dominican Republic, and continued at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
