Need more reggaeton to celebrate the holidays? Last week, urban superstar Wisin dropped his new album Victory, which will make you dance during the season. The new album features many collaborations, including with artists such as Yandel, Daddy Yankee, Timbaland, Bad Bunny, Ozuna, Don Omar and Zion & Lennox, among others.
In a recent interview with Billboard, the Puerto Rican singer explained that he named the album Victory because it represents everything he has lived so far. “Everyone that knows my personal life knows what happened. I’ve been through big victory but also I’ve had failures,” he said.
For this album, Wisin decided to have a unique sound and didn’t include any trap songs, although it is very popular. “What W represents is the energy, the party, the rumba, the fiesta,” he said, explaining that he respects Bad Bunny and Ozuna’s music as well Farruko’s latest project Trapficante.
