
Mexican singer-songwriter Victoria “La Mala” Ortiz released her new music video “Vete Mucho” exclusively on Tidal today (July 7).
Filmed in a Beverly Hills home back in June, “La Mala” strikes back with another girl power anthem where she liberates herself from a self-destroying relationship.
“It’s about a woman who is so in love but then gets treated the wrong way by the guy,” the Mexico City native told Billboard. “She then realizes that she won’t put up with any of that anymore, puts her foot down and says ‘no more’.”
“Vete Mucho” is the first Mexican regional music video to premiere on Tidal, a milestone not only for “La Mala” but for women in the genre. “I’m excited that a woman will be the first Mexican regional artist to premiere a music video on Tidal. In some kind of way, we are making history, right?”
