Marc Anthony has returned to his salsa roots with the release of his new single “Tu Vida en la Mía.” The track, released Feb. 22, bumped 2-1 and nabbed Anthony his 30th No. 1 on the Tropical Songs airplay chart dated March 23.
The romantic tropical hit also marks the Puerto Rican singer’s first No. 1 as a lead solo act in five years. The last time he crowned the chart solo was with “Flor Pálida” on the chart dated May 31, 2014.
Many of his collaborations, however, topped the Tropical Songs chart in between, including “Cuando Nos Volvamos a Encontrar” with Carlos Vives, “La Gozadera” and “Tracionera” with Gente de Zona, “Olvidame y Pega la Vuelta” with Jennifer Lopez and, most recently, the sensual bachata hit “Adicto” with Prince Royce.
