Selena Quintanilla fans keep getting more and more creative each day.
An unofficial page on Instagram, titled “Traveling Selena,” is keeping the Queen of Tejano’s legacy alive by posing a Selena-inspired doll in front of some of the biggest landmarks around the world, such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, the Seven Magic Mountains in Las Vegas, and even soaking under the sun at the beaches in Aruba.
On different occasions, the doll, with her long, black hair, gold hoops, and red lip on point, travels the world with her bedazzled bustiers or ruffled tops, giving honor to some of Selena’s iconic looks.
“The purpose of this account is to bring smiles and joy to Selena fans and people who love to travel,” says Leroy Pena to Billboard, who manages the account with his best friend, Eva McDaniel. “We’re just doing our small part to help keep Selena’s legacy alive and growing.”
Travel Selena was created on August 28, 2018, and is based in Portland, Oregon. Check out some of the adorable pics below.
