
The second edition of the Latin American Music Awards are set to take place Oct. 6 at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
Telemundo and Somos Productions will produce the show, which will kick off with a one-hour red carpet special followed by the awards ceremony that will honor the most influential Latin and non-Latin artists of the moment and will include a number of performances in English and Spanish. The Latin AMAs will be broadcasted live on Telemundo.

The 2016 nominees will be announced Aug. 31. Fans in the U.S. and Puerto Rico will be eligible to vote for the winners.

During last year’s inaugural awards show, Enrique Iglesias was the big winner of the night, taking home five awards including artist of the year and favorite male artist. “El perdón” won single of the year, song of the year, favorite collaboration and favorite streaming song.
The show included performances by Daddy Yankee, Paulina Rubio, Gloria Trevi, Natalie La Rose, Yandel and Lil Jon.
