
Shakira surprised her hometown fans last night when she made a surprise appearance at Mexican rock group Maná’s concert in Barcelona.

In her first concert appearance this year, Shakira walked onstage at Palau Sant Jordi stadium after Maná frontman Fher Olvera had begun playing “Mi Verdad.” The duet the pair recorded for Maná’s latest album, Cama Incendiada, on an acoustic guitar.

The crowd, needless to say, was thrilled. Shakira — who lives in Barcelona with footballer Gerard Piqué and their two boys — had not performed since giving birth to baby Sasha early this year.
Earlier this week at a Madrid concert, Maná welcomed an even more surprising special guest: José Maria Cano of Mecano fame joined the band onstage with his son Dani for the Mecano classic “Cruz de Navajas.”
