Selena Gomez‘s new Spanish-language EP, Revelación, has topped this week’s new music poll.
Music fans voted in a poll published Friday (March 12) on Billboard, choosing the 28-year-old singer’s new seven-song project as their favorite new music release of the past week.
Revelación, which was helmed of executive producers Tainy and Neon 16, includes three fiery collaborations featuring Rauw Alejandro (“Baila Conmigo”), Myke Towers (“Dámelo To’”), and DJ Snake (“Selfish Love”).
The project, Gomez’s first-even Spanish EP, brought in 43.7% of the vote, beating out new music by Blackpink‘s Rosé (R), Nick Jonas (Spaceman), Imagine Dragons (“Follow You”/“Cutthroat”), and others.
In recent weeks, Gomez also topped Billboard‘s new music poll with “Baila Conmigo,” her sultry reggaeton collab with Alejandro, and “Selfish Love,” her low-key bilingual dance track with DJ Snake.
Revelación is Gomez’s first major release since her 2020 album, Rare, which earned the singer her third No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.
Placing a very close second on the past week’s tally with 43.6% of the vote was Rosé’s solo debut project, R, which features new songs “On the Ground” and “Gone.” She became the second member of Blackpink to release a solo project after rapper Jennie dropped “Solo” in 2018.
Coming in third with 5% of the vote was Jonas’ third album, Spaceman. The 28-year-old singer premiered the title track, along with another new song “This Is Heaven,” while pulling double-duty as host and musical guest of Saturday Night Live on Feb. 27. The 11-track set is the singer’s first solo release since 2014’s Nick Jonas, which reached No. 6 on the Billboard 200.
