It’s been a crazy year for Sech, who has achieved many significant milestones since officially kicking off his career in 2018.
At the 2019 Latin American Music Awards red carpet on Thursday night (Oct. 17), the Panamanian artist said both his Latin AMAs and Latin Grammys nominations were the craziest things to happen to him this year. He also mentioned his album Sueños landing on the Billboard charts. “I screamed, I called my mom immediately and shared my happiness,” he tells Billboard.
The “Otro Trago” singer also spilled the deets on new music. “I plan on releasing a new album in the future and collaborations with lots of anglo artists,” he says, emphasizing that as of now, it’s a surprise.
At the 2019 Latin Power Player cocktail hour, Sech honored Henry Cardenas with the executive of the year award. He told Billboard that Cardenas has been very supportive in his career and that they are currently working closely.
