
Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. has officially named Richard D. Lara as the company’s new executive vice president and general counsel. Lara will oversee will oversee the legal and corporate affairs department.

Lara will report directly to SBS’ president, chairman and CEO Raúl Alarcón.

His expertise and leadership will benefit SBS given his deep industry experience and legal knowledge. SBS owns and operates 17 radio stations located in key U.S. Hispanic markets, including the top-rated Spanish-language station in the United States (WSKQ [La Mega] in New York), and the first-ever Cubatón station in the country.
