Salvador Sobral, who won the 2017 Eurovision contest with a disarmingly quiet love ballad, will release a new album on Warner Music in March.
The multilingual Paris, Lisbon, which includes tracks by Sobral and other songwriters, was inspired by Wim Wenders’ searching road movie Paris, Texas.
Paris, Lisbon will be Sobral’s first album since winning the international song contest. Just months after his Eurovision victory, he had a heart transplant; the singer suffered from a longstanding, and worsening, heart condition.
Sobral’s comeback album is set for release on March 29. He will kick off an international tour in Europe in April.
