On Thursday, Colombia’s highest court voted against a proposal that said marriage only applied to unions between men and women. With a six-to-three vote against the proposed ruling, Colombia is one step closer to becoming the fourth country in Latin America to legalize gay marriage joining Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina.
