Rauw Alejandro‘s “Algo Mágico” is crowned best animated music video of 2020 (so far) by fans racking in 55 percent of the votes.
For the poll, Billboard spotlighted 10 animated music videos, a new favorite go-to style for artists who during the pandemic have released cartoon or emoji-inspired visuals, and asked fans to vote for their ultimate favorite this year (so far).
The votes are in and Alejandro’s other-worldly music video, directed by Sebastián Mejia and with more than 20 million views to date, takes the lead over J Balvin‘s “Azul” and “Negro” and Chiquis and Becky G‘s “Jolene” with Rita Indiana’s “Como Un Dragon” coming in second place and Sebastian Yatra‘s “TBT” in third.
