Prince Royce is going back to his bachata roots with his new single “La Carretera,” which he gave a 20-second preview of on social media.
The sneak peek of the romantic tune with heart-breaking lyrics is also accompanied by a first look at the music video, where the Príncipe de la Bachata is cruising around reminiscing on a past relationship. “La Carretera” will be released Friday, May 20.

The chart-topping singer will be joining Pitbull on The Bad Man Tour this summer with special guest Farruko.
Royce will also have a recurring role in Hulu’s East Los High fourth season as Vincent, a Jefferson Park Dance coach. The new season is slated to debut this summer.
