Prince Royce will premiere a music video for “Ganas Locas” on Friday, Billboard has learned. The clip, directed by Jessy Terrero, will be available on all digital platforms.
Royce teased “Ganas” back in February as a Valentine’s Day gift for all his fans days before his album dropped. The song is a fusion of bachata and reggaetón, featuring urban superstar Farruko.
The single follows “Déjà vu,” his collaboration with Shakira, which peaked at No. 4 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart (dated Apr 15) and spent 11 weeks at No. 1 on the Tropical Songs chart.
On Thursday (July 13), Royce also announced that he will be running the TCS New York City Marathon on Nov. 5 to raise funds for two causes: the American Kidney Foundation, a condition that has been close to the bachata singer who lost his grandfather to a kidney disease years ago and some other family members have also struggled with the illness, and for education in public schools in urban areas of New York. At the moment, Prince Royce continues with his Five tour, performing Thursday night in Fresno, California. He’ll visit 11 other cities, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Washington and Miami.
