Pitbull‘s Mr. 305 record label is placing all bets on the multifaceted Montana Tucker who joins the label as the first female signee.
“It is very exciting to have Montana a part of the Mr. 305 family,” Pitbull said in a statement to Billboard. “Her talent and work ethic speaks for itself. Looking forward to making history together. Daleeeeee!”
The announcement comes as the Florida social media influencer, dancer and singer-songwriter reveals her debut single titled “Hola” for Mr. 305 Records, premiering today (April 23).
“I’m truly so honored to be apart of the Mr.305 family! Miami and South Florida have such a special place in my heart as my mom was born in Miami, and I grew up in South Florida,” Tucker said. “I’ve always been a huge fan of Pitbull and think that myself and Mr.305 make a great team! I feel we all have the same vision on the music I should be making, and I can’t wait for the world to hear it all!”
Regarding the deal, Mr. 305’s co-founder Rob Fernandez added, “It’s more of a partnership, we are here fully committed to pull all of our resources together to make Montana the next international super star that we know she is destined to be. Our strategy is ‘consistency.’ Slow and steady, it’s a marathon not a race. We will continue to support the artist we sign with consistency and build their brand every day and with an artist first approach.”
Tucker, who has more than 2 million followers on Instagram, joins current Mr. 305 signees including IAmChino, Lenier, Papayo and Omar Courtz.
