During the Premio Lo Nuestro 2019 rehearsals, Billboard caught up with Pedro Capó and Farruko to speak about their first collaboration, “Calma.”
The Puerto Rican singers explained that the collaboration was born in a natural way. The original song randomly popped up on Farruko’s Pandora playlist and he immediately contacted Capó via Instagram to record the remix.
On the Billboard charts, the “Calma” remix peaked at No. 6 on the Hot Latin Songs chart (dated Jan. 26, 2019), giving Capó his first top 10 on the chart. “It is incredible,” Capó says.
