Ahead of his debut on the big screen, Nicky Jam took to social media to share his poster for the movie XxX: Return of Xander Cage — where the “Hasta el amanecer” singer is in full character as Lazarus.
Aside from him looking pretty badass, the poster doesn’t reveal much about Nicky Jam’s character. In a previous teaser for the action flick, set to premiere in 2017, the Boston-born singer and Diesel share a scene on a boating dock, where Diesel is seeking refugee in Jam’s secret hideout. “I heard this is a perfect place to disappear for a couple of days,” Diesel says in the clip. “Mi casa es su casa if the price is right,” Nicky responds.
The chart-topping artist also shared two other XxX: Return of Xander Cage posters, featuring Diesel and Brazilian soccer star Neymar Jr., who will have a cameo in the Hollywood film.
In a previous interview with Billboard, Nicky Jam didn’t deny the possibility of a music collaboration with Diesel in the future.
“Vin Diesel is crazy, and when I say crazy, I mean it in a good way. He’s crazy about Latinos and he’s not even a Latino and he even wants to speak Spanish. I told him we should do a song together and he said he was shy. But I said, ‘I’m no actor, but I’m acting in front of you. I wasn’t scared.'”
