Both Jam & Balvin took to social media to make the announcement, but they’re clearly having a good time with it because after posting a short clip that announces the new version they kept followers in the dark about who the other artists are. Fans are dying to know. And, yes, we believe there is more than one artist involved.
On the Billboard charts, the original version of “X” replaced Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito” from No. 1 on the Hot Latin Songs chart dated May 5. “Despacito,” featuring Justin Bieber, spent 52 nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1.
