Chilean singer and songwriter Nea Agostini held an intimate acoustic session Wednesday at the Gibson Showroom in Los Angeles, where he presented his new EP Te Disuelves, produced by Grammy and Latin Grammy-winning producer Sebastian Krys.
“The opportunity to record this EP was so unexpected that we had to write these six songs in two weeks. We couldn’t let the opportunity of recording with Krys pass by,” the pop-rock artist said before starting his performance accompanied by percussionist and brother Ale Agostini. “We’re so happy with this EP and what Krys was able to get out of us as musicians.”

“Sebastian was able to rescue our essence and potential. He helped us grow so much throughout the whole process and he allowed us to get that rhythm that we had been looking for.” Krys has produced Latin superstars like Gloria Estefan, Thalía, Carlos Vives, Shakira and Ricky Martin, among others.
Te Disuelves, under Moon Moosic Records, follows Agostini’s first solo album Nos Movemos released in 2015. For this new production, he tapped fellow Chilean songwriter Francisca Valenzuela to help pen the track “Más que con él” and Colombian songwriter Ximena Muñoz for “No me interesa.”
“We’ve always done everything ourselves, but for this EP, we wanted to write with other artists and we were able to do it. I truly admire Francisca Valenzuela but I didn’t know her personally. Finally I met her and we wrote “Más que con él” in her house here in L.A. With Ximena, we also recorded in her house this song that talks about the life of an artist who will do anything to make their dreams come true, which means leaving behind family, friends, partners, etc.”
Nea is headed to South America to promote Te Disuelves, out Friday.
