It’s been a busy and successful year thus far for up-and-coming Mexican artist Natanael Cano. Last night (Oct. 7), he added another milestone to his career, making his late-night television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
“Ok, for all of you tonight, corridos tumbados,” Cano expressed in Spanish before his performance. For the show’s coveted concert series presented by Mercedes-Benz, the 19-year-old star sang live his single “Yo Ya Se,” part of his album Soy El Nata.
For the performance, Cano rocked a Christian Dior button-up shirt and a new purple hairdo. He was joined by three musicians for the big moment.
Notably, Cano is the first Regional Mexican artist to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Meanwhile, Cano is also confirmed to speak at the 30th annual Billboard Latin Music Week as part of the two-part On The Rise panel, which is a spinoff of the Billboard On the Rise franchise, which is published biweekly and spotlights up-and-coming artists who are making waves in music.
Cano, along with colleagues such as Lunay, Jhay Cortez, and Nicki Nicole, will join the candid conversation to discuss how they’re pushing boundaries in the urban and trap genres.
