When Nacho (former member of Chino & Nacho) announced his first song and video as a soloist, fans went crazy. And now we can finally see a preview exclusively on Billboard.
More than a year ago, “Bailame” went viral after Nacho shared on Instagram a video singing a piece of the song from a car. “My fans decided that this was the song that I should choose as my first single,” he told Billboard.
The video clip, directed by Marlon Peña, was filmed in Los Angeles and tells the story of Nacho in love with a dancer and shows him doing everything he can to find a way to approach her. “During those three days, I even learned contemporary dance. It was a great experience.”

Early this week, the artist traveled to Venezuela to be part of the protests in Caracas. He was attacked with tear gas. “I walked knowing that I was exposing the most precious thing I have, my life. I was satisfied to be able to live with my people, even for one day, what Venezuelans are living for many consecutive days. I tried to dialog with the officials, and I didn’t succeed. Instead I was greeted with shots and tear gas.”
“Bailame” comes after Nacho renewed his contract as a soloist with Universal Music Latino and signed a new co-management and executive producer agreement. Nacho said he loves the idea of releasing a new album, but he needs to sit down with his team to know when the time is right.
