Guaynaa, Rauw Alejandro, J Álvarez, Michael Stuart and Elvis Crespo are confirmed to perform at this year’s Mojanolah festival in Puerto Rico, Sparkof Entertainment Group Corp and local radio station La X announced.
Gomba Jahbari, Baby Rasta & Gringo, Alberto Stylee, DJ Negro, DJ Blass, DJ Nelson, Jay Bera, Joniel, Lími-T 21, and Rey Pirín will also perform at the event, which will take place at Las Criollas beach in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico on Sunday, July 7.
Celebrating 11 years, Mojanolah festival has featured artists such as Karol G, Farruko and Pedro Capó with the intention of celebrating the beginning of summer.
“The idea of the festival started at a time when many producers were looking for creating new events with radio stations in Puerto Rico, and I wanted to do something unique,” Herman Dávila, La X’s Programming and Marketing vp tells Billboard. “When I met with Jafet Santiago, he propose[d] the idea of this festival, and here we are 11 years later.”
Given the infrastructural damage caused by Hurricane Maria in 2017, the event will not be able to broadcast live on social platforms, there will be recorded content published constantly for those who can’t attend.
“We are at a point where the audience and our digital platforms are increasingly integrated, making them part of the experience,” added Jafet Santiago, a producer of Mojanolah.
The Mojanolah will also include gastronomic offerings, artisans and playgrounds for children. For more information about the festival, visit mojanolah.com.
