Highlighting the Latin American music industry, the two-day online event will bring together key players and artists to discuss the music scenes in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Mexico.
The official website states, “Through a solid program of panel discussions, networking opportunities, and showcases, participants will be invited to dive into the Latin music industry, sounds and music tech scene, aligned with the challenges we face as an industry in current times.”
Confirmed speakers include Colombian artist Carlos Vives, Mexican indie pop star Ximena Sariñana, Chilean songstress Francisca Valenzuela, and Billboard’s VP Latin Industry Lead Leila Cobo. Flor de Toloache, Vesta Lugg, Diamante Eléctrico and the Latin Grammy-nominated Conociendo Rusia, led by Mateo Sujatovich, will form part of the event’s showcases.
The virtual event kicks off at 9 a.m. ET on Thursday (March 11) with “A Deep Dive Into Latin American Sounds,” where Cobo will share exclusive insight into the state of Latin music, analyzing current trends and key data on Latin music and charts, and wrap up at 12:30 p.m. ET on Friday (March 12) with an artist showcase that follows a one-on-one with Vives.
