Mexican group Mana will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday, Feb. 10, Billboard has learned. The star will join thousands on the historic street, and the event will be broadcast live on www.walkoffame.com.
To celebrate the special milestone in their career, Mana will perform on the outdoor stage of Jimmy Kimmel Live! that same day. The show will broadcast at 11:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
Shakira & Mana Make Historic Debut on Hot Latin Songs
Last year, Mana made history on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart when “Mi Verdad” featuring Shakira, bumped Enrique Iglesias‘ “Bailando” out of the top slot after a record 41 weeks at No. 1. With that accomplishment, the group became the only act with three No. 1 debuts in the 28-year history of the chart.
