
Maná and Nicky Jam dropped their new version of the classic song “De pies a cabeza,” a reggae infused tune with a hummable riff that transforms the pop/rock track into a perfect summer song. The collab is a first between these two Latin superstars who announced back in June that they were working on new music together. A “historical” reunion they said on social media.
“De pies a cabeza” is not the only classic that gets a new version — Los Ángeles Azules teamed up with pop duo Ha*Ash to sing the cumbia anthem “Mi niña mujer.” The new version is part of Los Ángeles Azules’ upcoming album De plaza en plaza, due Sept. 30. “As an artist, it is incredible when someone lets you get out of your comfort zone, we love to mix music and genres, we’re not squared, we’re not close-minded, so this fusion of cumbia and pop is amazing,” said sisters Hannah and Ashley in a statement.
Joining the collab trend, Zion Y Lennox premiered their new single “Otra vez” featuring reggaeton superstar J Balvin. The upbeat track was released today on all digital platforms. The music video also premiered this Friday on YouTube. .
