Colombian superstar Maluma is the victim of a robbery in his hotel in Moscow.
According to The Associated Press, Russian news reports that a thief apparently got into Maluma’s room posing as his guest while the singer was out. On Tuesday morning (June 19), the singer traveled to Saransk, Russai, to support Colombia in their World Cup soccer match against Japan.
Local police said the stolen items include a variety of luxury watches, numerous pieces of jewelry and other belongings, with a total estimated value of 50 million rubles (about $800,000).
Billboard contacted Maluma’s representative and so far there are no further comments. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
