The event is always one of the highlights of Latin Grammy week, with veteran stars joining emerging acts in performing spirited covers of cross-generational and multi-genre favorites. Standouts of Wednesday night’s celebration included Alejandro Sanz covering “Escuela de Calor” by Radio Futura, Raquel Sofía’s folky take on the Prince classic “Kiss,” rockers Moderatto performing their electrifying version of Selena’s “Amor Prohibido,” Francisca Valenzuela doing a powerful cover of Radiohead’s “Creep,” and No Te Va A Gustar covering Soda Stereo’s hit song “De Música Ligera.”
