The American Music Awards unveiled its 2020 nominations on Monday (Oct. 26), with eight-time nominees The Weeknd and Roddy Ricch leading the pack. They are followed by five-time nominee Megan Thee Stallion.
Other top nominees, nabbing four nods each, include Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, DaBaby, and Bad Bunny, whose two 2020 albums, YHLQMDLG and Las Que No Iban a Salir, are up for favorite Latin album.
In addition to Bunny, other Latin acts and songs that received nods at this year’s awards include J Balvin, Ozuna, Becky G, Karol G, Rosalia, and Anuel AA. Up for the coveted favorite Latin song, for example, are Bad Bunny’s “Vete,” Black Eyed Peas and J Balvin’s “Ritmo,” and “Tusa” by Karol G and Nicki Minaj.
The 2020 AMAs will air at 8:00 p.m. ET on Nov. 22 from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles via ABC.
