After teasing studio time with Pharrell in his social media platforms, J Balvin has everyone on the edge waiting on the new production. But the Colombian-born singer is not the only one dropping new music this year, more Latin stars like Reik, Thalía, and Ricardo Montaner are getting ready to release their new LP.
If you’re unsure when to expect these new albums, we’ve got you covered. Check out below possible release dates for the following (we’ll keep adding more as they come):
Reik‘s Des/Amor (June 17)
The Mexican trio composed of Jesús Navarro, Julio Ramírez and Bibi Marín released two new singles, “Voy a Olvidarte” and “Ya Me Enteré,” that will be included in their upcoming album. The highly anticipated LP includes a collaboration with urban superstar Nicky Jam, a duet that definitely got the band out of their ballad comfort zone.
In tribute to Mexican regional bands and singers, the Venezuelan singer/songwriter wil release an album of duets featuring Conjunto Primavera, Espinoza Paz, Julión Álvarez, Pepe Aguilar and Gerardo Ortiz, among others.
J Balvin (June)
J Balvin hasn’t revealed much about his new LP, but he did assure Billboard that he’d want to “break walls with it and go mainstream.” For that, he tapped Pharrell and Justin Bieber to join him in the studio.
Thalía‘s Latina (2016)
The Latin “queen of pop” is coming in full force this year with her new album titled Latina. It includes her sexy song “Desde Esa Noche” featuring Maluma.
Mau y Ricky‘s Arte (July)
The duo Mau y Ricky, sons of Ricardo Montaner, will soon release their new album on Sony Music, produced by Latin Grammy winner Julio Reyes Copeello. They recently premiered “Voy Que Quemo,” the first single of the album.
