Headlining band La Ley will not be performing at Ruido Fest this weekend due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
One day before the three-day music festival kicks off in Chicago, Ruido Fest promoters announced that the Chilean rock band, which was supposed to perform Friday (July 8) night, canceled their participation because of traveling and logistic conflicts.
“The organizers are disappointed that La Ley will not be able to participate in Ruido Fest but are excited to announce that reggae band Gondwana will be taking their place at the festival,” read the statement. “The rest of the lineup has not been affected by the changes.”
The fest released the complete schedule for all three days today.
