Ten days after becoming a mom for the first time, Mexican YouTuber-turned-singer Kimberly Loaiza presented her latest single “Amandote” (Loving You). The single, which is a tribute to her pregnancy, is a slow-tempo urban bop featuring Loaiza’s partner (and fellow YouTuber) JD Pantoja.
The couple, known for their vlogs on reactions and pranks, joined forces in “Amandote” as a special dedication to their baby girl, Kima, who was born on July 12. “This is the day that I will never forget,” Kim expressed on social media the day she gave birth. “I have no words to express what I feel for her. I just want you to know that KIMA is the best thing to have happened in my life,” she added.
The music video, which landed near the top of YouTube’s Trending page Monday morning (July 22), documents Loaiza and Pantoja’s road to becoming parents from the time they found out they were expecting to the gender reveal party to the baby shower to the birth of their daughter.
In less than 20 hours, “Amandote” has garnered over 7.9 million views as of press time.
