During the past few years, Colombian artists such as Maluma and J Balvin have taken over Latin urban music and brought the genre to another level. But, who said that reggaeton and trap was born only for men? On Friday (Oct. 27), rising star Karol G proved that women can also be part of the movement releasing her album debut Unstoppable.
In a recent interview with Billboard, the “Ahora Me Llama” singer spoke about what took her so long to release the album and how she wants to be an inspiration for other women who wants to be part of the urban movement.
Also, Karol G details how she became J Balvin’s best friend and how was the experience on touring with Luis Fonsi in the United States.
This week, Karol G scored her first top 10 on the Hot Latin Songs chart (dated Nov. 4) with “Ahora Me Llama,” with Bad Bunny.
