
Juanes, Natalia Jiménez, Yandel, Lucero and Marc Anthony have been added to the list of music stars confirmed to perform at the 2016 Billboard Latin Music Awards on April 28.
Previously announced performers for the “Billboards Duets” edition include Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Nicky Jam, Victor Manuelle, Alejandro Fernández, Marco Antonio Solís and Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizárraga.
Special awards will be given to Mexican singers Fernández and Solis during the awards show. Fernández will be honored with the Billboard Hall of Fame Award for achieving worldwide recognition, transcending musical genres and languages. He will perform a duet with his daughter Camila Fernández.
Celebrating his 40th anniversary as a recording artist, Solís will be given the Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding career.
Hosted by Gaby Espino and Pedro Fernández, the ceremony will include presenters such as Edith González, Rafael Amaya, Michael Buffer, El Dasa, Adriana Lima, Angélica Vale and Don Francisco.
The Billboard Latin Music Awards will be broadcast live by Telemundo on Thursday, April 28 at 8 p.m. ET from the BankUnited Center in Miami. The awards will be preceded by the red carpet preshow La Alfombra de Premios Billboard.
