Latin music stars were actively involved on election night, both online and on television.

For the many Latin acts who have been exhorting Latinos to vote, mostly for Hillary, it was an early bright spot, particularly after watching Florida all but slip from Clinton’s grasp.
Jencarlos Canela, a Miami native, tried to sound upbeat on Telemundo, but was clearly worried at seeing Florida turning red. “I’m proud to see my Miami blue,” he said. “At this point we have to come together as a nation. But obviously, my position is clear: I’d like Hillary to win. But Florida is divided. We have to come together.”
Meantime, from California, regional Mexican star Lupillo Rivera exhorted voters to go to the polls. Behind him, a mariachi trio played the presidential march (interesting mix, by the way).
On Twitter, many artists gave a last minute push.
