Spanish singer Pau Donés announced via social media that after being diagnosed with colon cancer back in September, he can say that he is cancer free.
“Clean!!! Now we can celebrate,” wrote Jarabe de Palo‘s frontman along with a picture by the ocean. He followed that post with a message to his fans thanking them for all their support.

“This morning, I feel that life has given me a gift, the best gift in the world: life. And when you have death upon you, it makes this morning feel like I don’t quite know what is happening … But even though I don’t know what is happening to me, this morning I’ve returned to life.”

Since being diagnosed last year with colon cancer, the “Bonito” singer has kept his fans updated on his condition. Just last month he gave an update on his road to recovery saying he had ended his chemotherapy sessions. “No more surgeries and no more chemo on Wednesdays. We’ve done everything we can here on earth. Now it’s time to navigate again.”
