Once again, J Balvin makes history. This time, the Colombian superstar became the first reggaeton singer ever to perform at RodeoHouston, which took place at NRG Stadium, Billboard has learned.
On Tuesday evening, J Balvin took the rotating stage at RodeoHouston to perform in front of 75,000 fans, who enjoyed his best songs, including “Machika,” “Safari,” Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” Latino remix and “Mi Gente,” among others.
J Balvin shared the moment by posting a video on Instagram, writing, “Houston, this is another thing! I love you.” He also said he was grateful of all the support he received.
This year, J Balvin leads the 2018 Billboard Latin Music Awards finalists list with nods in 12 categories. The awards will air live on Telemundo on April 26 from Las Vegas.
