
J Balvin can pen mean hooks. In his new single, “Bobo,” the Colombian reggaetón star delivers another immediately hummable riff and play on words (“El es un b-o, b-o, yo solo veo) to get the girl.
“Bobo is a song as real as its name,” Balvin told Billboard. “Again, we dared to leave our comfort zone and take a risk on a concept.”
Laid-back and sultry, “Bobo” is the follow-up to the high energy reggaetón anthem “Ginza,” which went to No 1 on Hot Latin Songs. Like its predecessor, it was produced by Balvin’s Medellin-based team of Sky, Mosty and Bull Nene who also co-wrote the track with Balvin.
