The “Dime” artist included the following caption on a photo of her with her dad : “With a torn soul but totally aware that he is no longer suffering. That his spirit flies high and he takes care of me from where ever he may be. That his soul is finally at peace, I know that he enjoyed life how he wanted and he understood everything from our last conversation on Father’s Day … alone, him and I, holding hands. My old man has left. He was responsible for making me love music and write songs that make sense. My old man has left and only thing I wish is to transmit to my brothers strength and solidarity. I’m sorry.”
Although the Puerto Rican singer and her father were distant, a week ago she posted on Instagram another photo of them together asking for privacy for her and her family. “I just got off the plane to find myself in this situation … I beg you to let me deal with this privately. Let me peacefully find a way to transmit strength. I hope you give me this space and privacy to deal with this delicate situation. Let me and my father breathe peacefully.”
