Folk and alternative Venezuelan band Gaêlica dropped the video for their latest single, “Te Vas,” (“You Are Going,” in English), in which they include scenes from Venezuelan celebrities from all over the world.
The song is about the heavy emigration movement happening in the country because of the dictatorial regime of president Nicolás Maduro and the crisis in Venezuela.
Showing that celebrities also flee the country because of the harsh conditions, the clip includes actors like Marisa Román, Albi de Abreu, Antonio Delli, influencer and comedian Johanna Hausman and many more walking through the streets of cities like New York, Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Miami and Barcelona, where they were forced to move.
“Te Vas” is the first single from the Latin Grammy nominees, and comes after the band successfully promoted its last album, Todo Cambió (Everything Changed).
