Music has been a family affair for Latin artists like Alejandro Fernández, Pepe Aguilar, Alejandra Guzmán and Marc Anthony, who have followed their fathers’ footsteps and become some of the biggest acts in the music industry.
In Alejandro’s case, who at the age of 5 performed a duet with his iconic father, Vicente Fernández, it’s now his turn to share the stage with his daughter Camila. She performed for the first time on television during the 2016 Billboard Latin Music Awards in April, singing “El ciclo sin fin” with her dad.
As Father’s Day approaches (Sunday), we’re looking back at some of the most memorable father and son/daughter Latin duets, including Vicente and Alejandro’s 1976 duet, the late Joan Sebastian and his son Julián Figueroa, and Marc Anthony with his dad Felipe Muñiz.
