Farruko continues to dominate the clubs with his summer anthem “Pepas,” which now has an official remix by renowned DJ David Guetta.
The remix comes three months after Farruko released his solo banger, which scored him his first-ever No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart-dated Aug. 28. The song also reached No. 1 on the Hot Dance/ Electronic Songs, Latin Airplay, and Latin Streaming Songs charts.
Helmed by producers IAmChino, Sharo Towers, Keriel “K4G” Quiroz and Axel Rafael Quezada Fulgencio “Ghetto,” “Pepas” — a Spanish word for “pills” or “drugs” — is an electronic jam with various live instrumentation including captivating trumpets and powerful drum beats.
On the Guetta remix, which he feels “happy and proud” of, the French DJ removed its instrumental sound and infused the track with his signature electro-house, dubstep rhythms for an even more hyped-up club banger.
“Pepas” forms part of Farruko’s highly awaited new album La 167, which is set to drop on Oct. 1. Listen to this week’s Latin Remix of the Week, below:
