Apparently, the domination of men in the urban genre is coming to an end. Every day, more women are releasing powerful songs to let the boys know that there is a feminine movement in progress and the Colombian singer Farina is proving it with her new video “Mucho Pa Ti”, premiering exclusively on Billboard today (Nov. 17).
“Mucho Pa Ti” is set to be the next powerful feminine anthem, proving that women can live without men, and the video clip totally reflects the message. “Many times we invest time and feelings on people that do not correspond to us and make our lives boring,” Farina tells Billboard.
Farina, who is signed to Roc Nation Latin, started to explore urban sounds at the age of 14 and learned about hip hop, dancehall and reggae at the same time that she developed rapping skills which gives her a unique style on every song. “The most thing that I love about urban music is that I can talk as much as I want and be as real as possible,” she added.
Farina will join Ozuna during his upcoming tour in the U.S. called Odisea Society and next year she will participate at the SXSW (South by Southwest) 2018, which will take place from March 12-18 in Austin, Texas.
