On International Women’s Day, Fanny Lú is back with a new video for “Romper El Hielo,” with Puerto Rican trap singer Noriel, premiering exclusively on Billboard below.
The clip, directed by Fernando Lugo, takes place in a lounge where the Colombian singer is enjoying her night surrounded by friends and is captivated by a guy who can’t stop looking at her and finally gets the courage to approach her.
The song refreshes Fanny Lu’s sound and also leads her to join the list of female singers who now collaborate with the new generation of Latin trap singers. “I am one of those who thinks that we should have more women singing our [urban] music, because they bring novelty to the songs — not only with their beauty but also with their talent. I am sure that this theme will be a success,” Noriel said.
